Descriptions of Summer Day Camps

Ilderton

This camp is based at the Ilderton Community Centre and Arena. Participants enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and other fun activities with weekly themes such as Science, Olympics and Carnival! One day each week, the camp travels to the London Club for swimming and other activities.

All Stars (Sports)

A variety of indoor/outdoor sports and active games at the Club and other venues for all abilities and interests. Campers will enjoy swimming, use of activity rooms at the Club and occasional out-trips.

Camp-a-Saurus and Explorers

Younger campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and events in this small day camp. Active games, art, swimming, interactive/sensory activities, music are just a sample of what campers will experience. Through play and fun, campers will learn new skills and make new friends. Out-trips are planned each week.

Creative Arts

Let your creativity and imagination run wild! This camps explores a variety of different creative arts and music. Campers will express their creativity and participate in activities like swimming, rooms such as Imagination Playroom, out-trips and other program areas. Share your talent, be yourself and have fun while learning!

iPlay

This camp is for children ages 4-10 and allows children to participate in a variety of activities including; arts & crafts, active games, swimming, sports, music and more. The children go on weekly out trips exploring some of London’s attractions! Through play, children have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends and have fun!

Kamp I Direct (K.I.D.)

This camp allows children to choose some of their activities for part of the day. At the start of the day, a morning and an afternoon stream of 3 activities are scheduled and children can sign up. These activities may include sports, crafts, science fun, music, active games and more. Campers do enjoy a daily routine of swimming with occasional out-trips.

Outdoor Adventure

This camp combines indoor activities at the Club such as swimming and activity rooms and outdoor interests at various locations like fishing, canoeing, hiking, cooking outdoors, and a weekly out-trip. Those who love nature and being outside will explore through fun activities.

Science

Embrace your curiosity, get ready to try hands-on experiment and learn! Explore scientific myths, get messy, make things bubble and possibly go bang, safely. Coding, Animation, Graphics Arts are other elements in this camp including physical activities of gym and swim, out-trips and other program rooms.

Youth B.L.A.S.T.

Each session will encompass a variety of different tasks, initiatives and activities. Learn basic First Aid, cooking tips, and How-to/D.I.Y. lessons, and other life skills. There are a variety of physical activities like swimming, gym, out-trips and opportunities to create new friendships.
