Donor Privacy Statement

All information concerning donors or prospective donors, including their names, addresses, telephone numbers, the names of their beneficiaries, the amount of their gift, etc., shall be kept strictly confidential by BGC London and the Boys and Girls Club of London Foundation, its staff and volunteers, unless permission is obtained from the donor to release such information. If you do not wish to receive mail from us, simply call our Fund Development team to have your name removed from our mailing list.

How to Give

Charitable Tax Receipts
A charitable tax receipt will be issued for donations over $20.00 with accompanying mailing information. All online donations should have tax receipts issued automatically and sent to the email address used to make the donation regardless of the amount.

In-Kind Donations - Goods, Materials, Equipment
Use our Amazon list as a guide on what we are currently in need of or contact us directly if you have goods, materials, or equipment available as a donation. If a charitable tax receipt is requested, we require to have a copy of the original purchase receipt(s) accompanying the item(s) AND this is subject to approval by our Manager of Finance.

At this time, we cannot accept donations of pianos and large game tables like air hockey, foosball and pool tables.

Cryptocurrency Donation
Donations of cryptocurrency (Bitcoin and Ether) can be made via CanadaHelps. Charitable tax receipts are issued directly through the secure online platform. 

CarbonX Canada, in collaboration with its partner CCRI (Crypto Carbon Rating Institute), determines the average carbon emission for a donation of cryptocurrency by coin type. This data allows CanadaHelps to purchase the required carbon credit to offset this emission and ensure carbon neutrality.

Donate Your Car
Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for us.

Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation.

When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to us through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location).

Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for us to benefit.

After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use.

Run an Event

We are very fortunate to receive third-party donations from many generous businesses, associations, and individuals who have held fundraising events on our behalf. If you have a fundraising idea or an event planned, please contact our staff and let us know how we can help.

Volunteer

Throughout the year, the Boys and Girls Club of London Foundation and BGC London hosts various fundraising events and are only able to do this, through the generous support of many volunteers. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator by email or call 519-434-9115 ext. 255 to inquire about opportunities.
