Power Up! program boosts academic support for kids in London
Fidelity Investments has partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada to present Power Up!, a national initiative that helps kids develop positive study habits and practices at school.
Offered to children aged 6-12 at Boys and Girls Clubs across the country, the Power Up! program:
- Helps kids develop positive study habits and practices at school
- Encourages kids to set academic goals, and develop an interest in life-long learning
- Offers volunteer tutoring and mentoring services to ensure that participants have the tools and environment necessary to achieve academic success
We're proud to be running the program for Club members in the London community. At our Club, 36 Power Up! program participants are going to improve their math and literacy skills in a fun way, as well as increase their self-confidence and help build new relationships with their peers. Power Up! will be running within our Junior M.A.P. Program at W. Sherwood Fox Public School and F.D. Roosevelt Public School.
